Xiangqi
About Xiangqi
Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.
How to Play
Place your pieces according to their unique movement rules. The General can only move one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Advisors must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, making them powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and capture diagonally after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
